Although Rewa economy is mostly driven by agriculture, but its economy is fairly industrialized. The huge reservoirs of minerals and coals have given her immense competitive advantage in cement and coal sector. In fact very few large scale industries that are currently operating in the district are mostly cement and coal factories, including Asia’s largest cement factory (Prism Cement Pvt Ltd).
